Phronesis Take Life To Everything On Tour

Fiery Scandi-Brit jazz trio Phronesis – led by Danish bassist Jasper Hølby alongside British pianist Ivo Neame and Swedish drummer Anton Eger – begin their UK tour next week on 20 May in support of their new, critically acclaimed album Life To Everything (Edition Records). The band has been winning fans across the US and Europe, most recently headlining the Danish showcase night at the huge Jazzahead! expo event in April.

The trio recorded their fifth and latest album ‘in the round’ at three explosive, sold-out performances at The Cockpit Theatre in Marylebone, London last November, at the EFG London Jazz Festival. The nine-track album features compositions from all three members and continues to build on their compelling group chemistry as one Europe’s most explosive piano trios.

UK tour dates are: Norfolk and Norwich Festival at Diss Corn Hall, Norfolk (20 May); The Electric Palace, Bridport, Dorset (21 May); Colston Hall, Bristol (23 May); Sage, Gateshead (27 May); RNCM, Manchester (28 May); Union Chapel, London (29 May); Crescent Arts Centre, Belfast (30 May) and Town Hall, Birmingham (31 May).
