John Turville dives in Head First – new album, tour and video

Pianist and composer John Turville returns with a new album, Head First, released on 22 February on Whirlwind Recordings, ahead of a run of UK live dates. His first solo album since 2012’s acclaimed Conception, the new album features his Quintet (above) of renowned saxophonist Julian Argüelles, trumpeter Robbie Robson, bassist Dave Whitford and drummer James Maddren.
