John Taylor Trio, Curios and Norma Winstone for North Sea Jazz Festival |

Rotterdam is once again host to one of the biggest jazz festivals in the world, the North Sea Jazz Festival, this summer from 8-10 July. The John Taylor Trio, Jamie Cullum, Norma Winstone in a duo with American pianist Fred Hersch and Curios are among the UK jazz artists booked. The line-up also includes a who's who of global jazz stars including George Benson who will be performing a Nat King Cole tribute, Herbie Hancock joined by Chinese classical pianist Lang Lang and the Neue Philharmonie Westfalen. Also set for North Sea, Lee Konitz, Brad Mehldau, Charlie Haden and Jorge Rossy join forces, and the McCoy Tyner Trio with Bill Frisell and John Scofield are to perform on the final night. Other standout gigs include the jazz blues sensation guitarist Derek Trucks who performs with his band, New Orleansian trumpet rising star Christian Scott, and US neo-soul singer Erykah Badu.
