Walthamstow jazz-skronk-rockers Led Bib – who play a sold out gig at the Vortex tonight as part of the London Jazz Festival – continue to reap the rewards of their Mercury Music Prize-nominated album Sensible Shoes by signing a worldwide media synchronisation deal with prestigious publishers Faber Music. They join a roster that also includes Radiohead guitarist/composer Johnny Greenwood, Sir Paul McCartney’s classical works as well as leading film composer Stephen Warbeck and acclaimed sitarist Nishat Kahn.

Now enjoying a higher profile Led Bib made quite an impact with their Mercury Prize appearance winning fans among fellow Prize nominees that included The Horrors, as well as appearing live on Channel 4 News, performing the program’s theme tune alongside Jon Snow on keyboards and Krishnan Guru-Murthy on bass, as well as live sessions for Janice Long’s BBC Radio 2 show, BBC6 Music and XFM. Mark Holub (pictured left), the band’s drummer, said,“ We are all really excited about the Faber signing, everything has accelerated for us since the announcement and it’s a brilliant time. This new prospect of working with film and TV is a great new development and we look forward to a long and fruitful relationship with Faber.”
