Life Cycles, a newly commissioned work by Hospital Arts, part of the Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity, will be performed by the composer, musician, writer and music therapist Jonathan Cohen tomorrow evening at the Royal College of Music in London.
Cohen will be joined by his Times Loves Changes octet which includes Christine Tobin (pictured), double bassist Alec Dankworth, percussionist Asaf Sirkis and the Colombian dancer/choreographer Antonella Marmor. Cohen has been working with the photographer and designer Caroline Stone, gathering stories, images and narratives, and making observations in the Chelsea and Westminster Hospital community and beyond for over a year. These have formed the basis for the work which includes spoken word, music, dance and projected images. Tickets are £10 and all funds raised go to Chelsea and Westminster Health Charity to fund future visual and performing arts projects within Chelsea and Westminster Hospital. – Stephen Graham For tickets call 020 8846 6600.
