Jazz breaking news: Kenny Wheeler, David Murray and Martial Solal For Bath |

The Bath International Music Festival has unveiled details of this year’s jazz programme. Known for its eclectic approach and the place to discover many European artists who only rarely visit these shores, this year’s festival includes the double bill of US band AlasNoAxis plus Mercury-nominees Led Bib on Saturday 29 May (2pm, Pavilion), BBC Radio 3 Jazz Line Up broadcast (29 May, Chapel Arts, 10.30pm), Kenny Wheeler and John Taylor + Julien Lourau Quartet (30 May, Pavilion, 2pm); Eric Vloiemans Trio + Martial Solal Trio (30 May, Pavilion, 8pm), Tom Arthurs and Richard Fairhurst (30 May, Chapel Arts, 10.30pm), Django Bates (Mon 31 May, The Little Theatre, 3pm) and David Murray The Gwo-Ka Masters (Mon 31 May, Pavilion 8pm).
