| Jazz breaking news: Late, Late Show Set For Ronnie Scott’s |

Ronnie Scott's has announced details of a new late night club spot to take place in the main room of the club after the headline act has finished for the night. Dubbed The Late Late Show it is to run from Mondays to Thursdays from 11pm onwards. Hosted by Michael Mwenso, who has successfully run upstairs jam sessions over the last few years, the late night happening kicks off from 1-2 February with the Brian Edwards and Alan Weekes Quartet followed on 4 Feb by Steve Fishwick/Darryl Kennylworthy Steeles Band. Ex-Empirical trumpeter Jay Phelps is next on 8-9 Feb, with Jonathan Gee’s Trio on 15 Feb. Other bookings include Femi Temowo’s organ trio on 17 and 18 Feb; Troy Miller’s Quartet on 22 and 23 Feb; Zhenya Strigalev / Jim Hart on 24 Feb and Quentin Collins with Brandon Allen on 25 Feb.
