Edition #10 of the Jazzwise podcast to accompany the August 2013 edition of the award winning glossy magazine. Hosted by Jazzwise editor Jon Newey and renowned radio presenter Chris Philips with music and discussion surrounding the magazine features and interviews, reviews and one or two personal selections.

This month there's great new music from the cover stars Empirical and a review of their new CD 'Tabula Rasa', classics from Donald Byrd who's final interview is in the magazine, Dizzy Reece and Pharoah Sanders and new Gregory Porter from his forthcoming 'Liquid Spirit' album. We also play a couple of intense pieces from the new WorldService Project album and Mahavishnu Orchestra box set re-issue.

Always informative and fun, this is a programme concieved from the excellent Jazzwise magazine and presented with enthusiasm and passion for this great music.
