Jazzwise Podcast September 2013

Edition #11 of the Jazzwise podcast to accompany the September 2013 edition of the award winning glossy magazine. Hosted by Jazzwise editor Jon Newey and radio presenter Chris Philips with music and discussion surrounding the magazine features and interviews, reviews and one or two personal selections.

New music from the cover star Shabaka Hutchings and his band Sons Of Kemet and a review of their new CD 'Burn', the Anglo-American band The Impossible Gentlemen, drummer Magnus Öström and word on a world exclusive never before published interview with Jimi Hendrix in the magazine. We also play a couple of classic selections from Blue Note Records hunted down by vinyl hound Jon Newey and a blazing slice of chaotic magnificence to finish .

Always informative and fun, this is a programme concieved from the excellent Jazzwise magazine and presented with enthusiasm and passion.
