Parisian jazz celebrated in Kings Place festival |

Chamber venue Kings Place in London is set to build on its reputation for strong jazz programming in June with a special Paris Jazz strand to include live performance, a programme of talks and club nights. Jazzwise writer Kevin Le Gendre will present a series of separate talks exploring jazz in Twenties Paris, the Liberation movement in the 60s and how the current scene is developing, while cultural critic Bonny Greer will present a talk on Miles Davis and Juliette Greco. Artists set to appear include Biréli Lagrène (10 June), Martial Solal (11 June), Bojan Z (12 June) and Henri Texier (13 June). For more go to www.kingsplace.co.uk
