| Manchester Jazz Festival Confirms Dates And Announces North West Strand |

This year’s Manchester Jazz Festival will take place from 24 July-1 August. A new north-west strand, MJF Originals, will feature the Indo-acoustic sounds of Mask with Olivia Moore and Ones And Zeros with bassist Matt Owens’ jazz-meets-classical chamber project quintet. Also set to appear are: Alata and The Art of Sound, the double bill of D’3 and the Enrico Pieranunzi trio, Atomic, Bourne/Davis/Kane plus Paul Dunmall, Stanton Moore, DJ Mike Chadwick and Jonas Backman. Venues include St Ann’s Square, the Octagon Lounge at The Midland Hotel, St Ann’s Church, the Bridgewater Hall foyer, the Royal Northern College of Music, Matt & Phred’s jazz club and the Festival Pavilion in Albert Square.
