Since 2008, the award-winning Café in the Crypt at St Martin-in-the-Fields has hosted live jazz every week during the summer months. This year’s season has already kicked off, with sets from the likes of Tony Kofi and The Red Stripe Band, but there’s plenty more to come. The varied schedule includes appearances from Zena James (pictured), TJ Johnson’s Bourbon Kick and Shanti, among many others, and runs all the way through to 26 September.

Music starts at 8.00pm on Wednesday evenings. Dates are: TJ Johnson’s Bourbon Kick (25 July); Slipstream Jazz Band (1 August); The Fabulations (8 August); Brass Volcanoes (15 August); Davide Giovanni (22 August); TJ Jonson’s Bourbon Kick (29 August); Adrian Cox, Sky Murphy and the General (5 September); Zena James (12 September); Shanti (19 September); and TJ Johnson’s Bourbon Kick (26 September).
