Brighton beckons for The Necks and EST

Jazz and world music bookings at the Brighton Festival in May include The Bays and Burnt Sugar (8 May, Concert Hall, Brighton Dome), Abyssinia Infinite Ethiopia (14 May, Gardner Arts Centre), Ibrahim Ferrer (15 May, Concert Hall, Brighton Dome), The Necks (16 May, Pavilion Theatre, Brighton Dome), EST plus Eivind Aarset Trio (18 May, Concert Hall, Brighton Dome) and Harold Budd (21 May, Concert Hall, Brighton Dome).
A lunchtime programme of concerts at the festival in the Pavilion Theatre is to feature Tomorrow's Warriors (7 May), Debashish Bhattacharya (10 May), Julien Jacob (12 May), Annie Whitehead Quintet (14 May), Chris Abrahams (17 May), Marta Topferova (19 May), Kala Ramnath (24 May) and Lollo Meier with Tcha Lindberger (26 May).
