Pearl Folkloric Elite Congas

Percussionists will have noticed that Pearl has steadily been building up its range of hand percussion in recent years, with the new folkloric collection the latest addition. Mixing classic looks with modern innovation, the 28" tall oak congas are designed for the seated player, but are also pre-drilled for stand mounts. Thicker south American-style natural skins produce a warm sound, while a fibreglass gel coat to the interior seals the shell and adds to the projection and volume of the instruments. With four polished steel reinforcing bands set into the shells, the Tumbador, Quinto and Conga not only sound, but also look the business.
