Write Stuff

The Write Stuff - New Writers Forum

For the past ten years Jazzwise and Serious have collaborated to produce the Write Stuff that takes place during the London Jazz Festival – offering emerging writers of all ages a chance to practice the art of writing about jazz – in an intensive weeklong workshop.

Serious and Jazzwise celebrate the Write Stuff’s 10th birthday in 2012. If you are a former Write Stuffer, please contact This e-mail address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it (please include the year you participated), in order to find out what we have in store!

Many of those who've taken part have gone on to further their careers, having work published in the Guardian and Jazzwise, and working for BBC Radio 3. This year's participants will be posting their reviews here during the 2010 LJF but in the meantime please read some of the articles here from last year's event.
